Greetings from the Office of Student Financial Planning!  We look forward to working with you as you complete your financial plans for the school year.

Mercer’s Office of Student Financial Planning has consistently provided attractive financial aid packages to a large percentage of students. Financial assistance is available to help pay a student’s tuition in addition to other educational expenses. Financial aid may include scholarships, grants, loans and part-time employment.

All students at Mercer have been assigned a Financial Aid Advisor.  Please feel free to contact your Financial Aid Advisor to answer any questions you might have regarding the application process or your financial aid award.  Click on the “Contact Us” section at the top of this page if you need to contact us.  We are here to help you!

Change in Subsidized Loan Eligibility
Effective for loans made for periods of enrollment (loan periods) beginning on or after July 1, 2012, graduate and professional students are no longer eligible to receive Federal Direct Subsidized Loans. The terms and conditions of Direct Subsidized Loans received by any student for loan periods beginning before July 1, 2012, for either graduate or undergraduate study, are not affected by this change.

The annual loan limit for graduate and professional students remains unchanged at $20,500, but this amount will now be limited to Direct Unsubsidized Loans.
